He sighs, not answering. He knows that, of course, though part of him says that there could have been a hundred other things that would have stopped that incident, if he hadn't been there. A security guard of maintenance worker could have raised the alarm. They could have screwed up, got pulled over for speeding or anything, really.
And at this point he's tired of trying to weigh the loss of people he knows over the good of faceless numbers, as much as it was a part fo his work. As much as it makes him feel guilty, that he was ready to do it to save Chase and Chris.
